My Journey to Becoming a Sprinklr Trainer

Working as a Solutions Consultant at KINSHIP digital means I must be adaptable. If a problem needs solving, I’m your person. One of the tasks I’m responsible for is setting users up on the Sprinklr platform to the point where they are running efficiently and independently. As each use case is unique, I need to work closely with the client to ensure all requirements are met. Due to this complexity across different clients and industries, I have developed extensive knowledge of the platform and my skills as a teacher.

Thankfully, the support from the KINSHIP digital team is what has helped me become the Solutions Consultant I am today. My journey began almost a year ago when the KINSHIP digital team welcomed me into the office and began training me on Sprinklr. My background as a high school maths tutor provided me with a great foundation to become a Sprinklr trainer, and the patience required to understand any issues the trainees might have. My experience helps me identify where a trainees understanding is currently at, in turn, allowing me to match the training to their current skill set and ability.

The knowledge required to teach someone how to use the platform extends beyond the knowledge required to build the platform. For me to be able to train users I need to fully understand how the Sprinklr platform is setup for their specific use case and the objectives behind the setup. As a Sprinklr trainer I always encourage the asking of questions. By addressing trainee questions helps to connect the dots that sometimes you don’t know they are trying to connect. Having the knowledge to field these questions helps me to provide correct and meaningful answers.

But, how do I have the ability to answer questions I haven’t yet come across? This can be attributed to my own innate curiosity combined with Sprinklr’s learning resources. Once I completed the online Sprinklr training I began using the platform in a test environment where I create scenarios and issues that my colleagues were encountering with our client environments. This gave me a great amount of experience and made me think laterally to solve issues. I solidified this using Sprinklr’s knowledge portal articles along with my drive to learn the technicalities of how Sprinklr objects interact with one another.

Eventually, this led to me being assigned my own clients. It was now my responsibility to build the environment and train the users. The team at KINSHIP digital were a great support during the enablement but there was only so much they could do to help with the training sessions. At the end of the day, I had to run the training and I had to answer the questions.

Passing my knowledge onto users and seeing their confidence grow once they leave my training sessions is what drives me to constantly want to learn more about Sprinklr and how I can better serve our customers. As the common saying goes, “Do what you love and never work a day in your life”.
