KINSHIP digital is moving together for STEPtember

KINSHIP digital is excited to announce that we will be participating in STEPtember to move together for cerebral palsy.

STEPtemeber is a virtual challenge that encourages people to take 10,00 steps per day while raising funds for people living with cerebral palsy.

Every 20 hours, an Australian child is diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

The most common physical disability in childhood, cerebral palsy, is caused by damage to the developing brain either during pregnancy or shortly after birth. It directly affects a person’s movement and posture for life.

STEPtmber participants are passionate about being healthy, building a more inclusive world and making a life-changing impact for people living with cerebral palsy.

So what particularly are we stepping up for?

  • Babies at risk

  • Essential research

  • Telepratice

  • Rural and Regional

  • Youth Programs

  • Remarkable

Accessible across Australia, STEPtember promotes connection and, teamwork, friendly competition and encourages a more active, engaged and productive workforce.

The inclusive CSR initiative promotes increased equality, diversity and inclusion across workplaces, not to mention a fun employee engagement initiative that connects teams across departments and locations.

As a team, KINSHIP digital will be taking the STEPtember challenge. Each team member will be competing to see who can get the most steps in for the month of September.

We will also share our involvement on social media throughout the month. As well as sharing some great educational content!

Ready to join us in taking the STEPtember challenge? Together we can make a difference to those living with cerebral palsy. Donate to our KINSHIP digital page today!
