My Internship Experience at KINSHIP digital

Working at any business for the first time can be quite intimidating, especially if it’s your first time working! This was me and feeling nervous was my primary emotion other than also being extremely excited. I was an intern at KINSHIP digital for four weeks and even though this was a short period, I had been warmly welcomed and included into the KINSHIP digital team. I was given many various opportunities to show my skills and strengths in design as well as other areas in marketing and information systems. I enjoyed the design-based tasks the most because it enabled me to explore, create and construct various ideas.

The company culture at KINSHIP digital inspired me to want to work harder and challenge myself to make the team proud. The team is very focused on clear communication which was evident in the collaborative environment. If I ever had a question or query there was always someone happily willing to assist me. It was easy to notice how the team supports one another and praises each other for individual efforts and achievements. This supportive environment made it much easier for me to progress and advance onto more tasks earlier on in my work experience.

During my time at KINSHIP digital I was involved with:

• Various research-based tasks

• Exploring different content type ideas

• Constructing and designing a company themed presentation template

• Creating KINSHIP digital’s company video

• Reconstructing and designing different documents for the team to utilise

I have gained so much experience and an immense amount of understanding of business operations from this internship which I am incredibly grateful and appreciative of. I would definitely recommend KINSHIP digital to other potential interns because of how much value this experience offers and how much knowledge I gained from just four weeks.
