Starting a new role as an implementation consultant at KINSHIP digital

 

Starting a new job is always daunting, especially when trying a new field of work. However, with previously loved the consulting work I had done at other internships, I knew an Implementation Consultant role was something I wanted to try out.

So why KINSHIP digital?

Initially, I was drawn to the work KINSHIP does in terms of software integration with Sprinklr. In particular, I found the process of involving Sprinklr to provide data-driven strategies to empower companies in their digital transformation fascinating. 

When checking out KINSHIPS website, I found the company values to reflect my own:

As I am in my final years of study, I also valued the purpose to create employment opportunities and invest in personal development.

Overall, I thought KINSHIP digital would be an excellent opportunity to gain a lot of skills in the field of information technology and information systems.

So how am I liking the role?

Only months into my new role as an implementation consultant at KINSHIP digital, the experience has been nothing but amazing! 

The team has been friendly, accommodating, and willing to stop what they’re doing to help me get up and running as quickly as possible. 

I already have a sense of achievement accomplishing so much, including:

  • Being Sprinklr certified

  • Software implementation & configuration

  • Training clients on the software

  • Building core consulting skills such as problem-solving skills & communication skills

The flexible work arrangements at KINSHIP have allowed me to work part-time whilst completing my bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Science. 

Getting a feel of consulting work in tech has opened a whole new pathway. My experience at KINSHIP has definitely taught me always to keep an open mind and take whatever challenge comes your way.

My advice for anyone that is unsure about changing career paths is to always keep an open mind and take on any opportunity to try new things because you might discover something that you really enjoy doing!
